Job Overview
We are looking for reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented Cleaning Operatives to join our growing team on a part-time or full-time basis. The role involves working across different residential and commercial properties in Portsmouth and surrounding areas. Successful candidates must take pride in their work, follow cleaning instructions and checklists, and consistently deliver a high standard of service. Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as guidance and training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general, deep, end-of-tenancy, commercial and short-term accommodation cleaning.
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, communal areas and other assigned spaces.
- Vacuum, mop, dust, sanitise and disinfect surfaces to a high standard.
- Follow job instructions, cleaning checklists and health and safety procedures.
- Use cleaning products, materials and equipment safely and correctly.
- Report damage, maintenance issues, missing items or concerns promptly.
- Work independently and as part of a cleaning team.
- Travel between different customer properties and job sites when required.
- Maintain a professional, respectful and friendly manner with customers and colleagues.
Required Skills and Experience
- Reliable, punctual and committed to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong attention to detail and good time-management skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete cleaning checklists.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Previous professional cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred but not essential.
- Applicants must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
Additional Information
Working hours may vary depending on customer bookings and job locations. Drivers are preferred, and a travel allowance will be provided where applicable. Candidates who do not drive are also welcome to apply, as transport between job sites can be arranged when required. A valid DBS certificate is desirable but not essential. Jetdore Services Limited can arrange a DBS check for successful candidates who do not currently have one. Cleaning materials, equipment and relevant guidance will be provided.
