Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced, reliable and highly organised Cleaning Supervisor / Team Leader to lead and support our cleaning teams across different residential and commercial job sites. You will be responsible for coordinating cleaning operatives, monitoring the quality of their work and ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently and to Jetdore’s professional standards. You will also act as an important link between cleaning operatives, customers and management, helping us maintain consistent quality and excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, support and motivate cleaning operatives across multiple job sites.
- Allocate duties and ensure all cleaning tasks are completed correctly and on time.
- Conduct quality inspections and resolve any issues promptly.
- Train, onboard and mentor new and existing cleaning operatives.
- Assist with staff rotas, attendance monitoring and job allocation.
- Ensure job sites are adequately staffed and supplied with the required cleaning materials and equipment.
- Communicate professionally with customers and respond appropriately to feedback or concerns.
- Report staffing, maintenance, damage or service issues to management promptly.
- Ensure cleaning products, machinery and equipment are used safely and correctly.
- Enforce company procedures and health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Maintain accurate job records, cleaning checklists and quality-inspection reports.
- Carry out cleaning duties alongside the team when required.
Required Skills and Experience
- Previous professional cleaning experience is essential.
- Previous supervisory or team-leader experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Good knowledge of professional cleaning techniques, products and equipment.
- Ability to conduct quality inspections and maintain consistently high standards.
- Ability to manage workloads and support teams across different job sites.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred.
- Flexibility to travel between job locations.
Additional Information
Both part-time and full-time positions are available. Working hours may vary depending on customer bookings, staff requirements and job locations. A full UK driving licence is preferred. A travel allowance will be provided where applicable when an approved personal vehicle is used for work-related travel. Where possible, transport between job sites can be arranged for a suitable candidate who does not drive. A company vehicle and equipment may be provided where applicable. A DBS check is required for this role. Jetdore Services Limited can arrange the application if the successful candidate does not currently hold a suitable DBS certificate.
